Rationale for Mixed-age Programs
At KiDO International PlaySchool, children thrive in mixed-age classes led by dedicated professionals. Each class includes small groups of children aged 1 to 3 and 3 to 6, ensuring low child-adult ratios for personalized attention.
Our research-backed approach emphasizes the importance of secure relationships. We maintain consistent teacher-child bonds throughout a child's enrollment, fostering a sense of belonging and trust.

Mixed-age Programs and Class Settings
Through enriching activities like handwork, painting, music, circle games, and pre-academic skills, we foster holistic development. Older children take on leadership roles, fostering pride and responsibility, while younger ones benefit from positive role models. This dynamic creates a harmonious environment, allowing children to thrive.
We offer three age-based programs - Nursery, Wondergarten, and Kindergarten -designed to nurture the specific development stages, interests, and needs of each child.

KiDO Class Settings
From mastering toileting to embracing table manners, children immerse themselves in social interactions, outdoor exploration, and creative arts & crafts. Through engaging activities like circle songs and games, they become attuned to seasonal rhythms, fostering holistic growth.
In the Kindergarten years, the teachers will assess the children’s first grade readiness. The assessment gauges physical, emotional, and intellectual preparedness for formal reading, writing, and arithmetic. A transcript that includes examples of their work will be given to the parents and sent to their prospective elementary school upon request.
